I love reading books. Every time I play Baldur’s Gate 3, I feel like reading a high-fantasy novel. However, I feel like a co-author when playing. I get impressed by the attention to detail in the environment, voice, acting, and writing every time I try this game. When playing this game, you will experience moments of intimacy and quietness. Similarly, you will come across moments of grand spectacle as well. Indeed, there will be pacing lags at times, like heavy narration or long walks. However, you can easily forgive these short lags when the game hits. I should share that the game feels alive. The magic in the game feels powerful, threats feel real, and NPCs feel like people, but they are heavy as well.
